Prior to burning your candle, and after trim the wick at least ¼ inch. This prevents uneven burning, dripping or flaring.

Let top of candle melt completely to the edges during the first burn to prevent tunneling.

To prevent tunneling, burn candle for 4 hours so that wax is melted to the edge of the vessel. Never burn candle more than 4 hours at a time.

Burn until only 1/2 inch of wax is left.
